General Terms and Conditions of sale

Maestri del Tartufo di Lorenzo Mennonna complies with the legislation governing distance contracts (Articles 49 et seq. of Legislative Decree No. 206/2005 – the “Consumer Code”) and Legislative Decree No. 70/2003 on electronic commerce.

Customers are invited to read these General Terms and Conditions carefully and to retain them on a durable medium. Placing an Order constitutes full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.

Updates – These General Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time. New versions shall apply to orders placed after their publication on the Website.


1. PARTIES, DEFINITIONS AND SCOPE

The products and prices published on the Website constitute an offer to the public pursuant to Article 1336 of the Italian Civil Code.


2. REGISTRATION AND DELIVERY SERVICES

Purchases may be made with or without registration. The following services are available:

  • Domestic delivery by express courier (Bartolini or equivalent courier services).
  • International delivery by Bartolini or selected courier services.

3. PRICES, COSTS AND PROMOTIONS

Prices are stated in Euros, including VAT, excluding shipping costs and any additional services, which are calculated at checkout.
The price charged shall be the price displayed at the time the order is placed. Promotions are valid for a limited period.


4. ORDER ACCEPTANCE

The contract shall be deemed concluded upon receipt of the order confirmation email sent by the Website.
Orders may be rejected or cancelled in the event of: pricing or availability errors, unauthorized payments, logistical constraints, suspected fraud, or abnormal use.


5. DELIVERY

Delivery times are indicative; any delays caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the seller’s control shall not give rise to liability on the part of the seller.


6. UNAVAILABILITY AND SUBSTITUTIONS

If a product is unavailable, the customer shall be contacted to arrange an alternative/substitute product or a refund of the relevant amount.


7. PAYMENTS

Payment shall be made at checkout. Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) enabled for online payments.
  • PayPal.
  • Any other payment methods made available by third-party platforms and displayed at checkout.

8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with Articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code, by sending written notice to:

Return shipping costs shall be borne by the customer. The refund shall be made within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods in an intact condition.

Exclusions (Article 59 of the Consumer Code), including:

  • perishable goods or goods with a short expiration date;
  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if unsealed after delivery;
  • goods made to measure or clearly personalized.

9. WARRANTIES
  • The warranties provided for under Articles 1490 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code shall apply, within the applicable time limits and subject to the notification requirements provided therein.

10. PERSONAL DATA

Personal data shall be processed in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national legislation. The updated privacy policy is available on the Website.


11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

The contract shall be governed by Italian law.
The courts of Florence shall have jurisdiction, unless otherwise mandatorily provided for by applicable law.
